What this site is
SundaeLink publishes editorial reviews of free ancient-world games available on Android. Everything on these pages is the opinion of the people who write it, formed after playing each game for at least a week on ordinary hardware. Opinions are not facts, and a verdict that suits us may not suit you.
By reading this site you accept these terms. They are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
No advertising, no paid placement
This site carries no advertising. It sells no placements, no sponsored pages, no ranking positions and no favourable wording, and there is no mechanism anywhere on it for a developer to buy any of those things. Nobody has paid for a line on the shelf, and nobody can. If that ever changes, the disclosure will appear on the page itself, not in a footnote here.
An optional Plus subscription is described on the home page at A$5.90 per month. Card processing for it is in the activation stage while our application is being handled, which means the subscription cannot currently be purchased and no amount is charged to anybody. When it opens, the subscription terms, the cancellation route and the refund position under the Australian Consumer Law will be published here before the first charge is taken.
Ratings and store data
Ratings and review counts quoted on this site are taken from the Google Play listing of each game on the day its page was published, and are reproduced without rounding. Store figures move constantly; we amend pages when a change is large enough to alter our advice, but we cannot promise that every number matches the store at the moment you read it.
Independence and trade marks
SundaeLink is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Google LLC, Google Play, or any of the studios whose games appear here. Game titles, icons, screenshots and other assets remain the property of their respective rights holders and are shown here for the purpose of review and commentary. The wording, structure and design of this site belong to SundaeLink.
Links to other places
Pages here link to Google Play listings so that you can check a game for yourself. Those destinations are outside our control, we take no responsibility for what they contain, and a link is not a recommendation of anything other than looking.
Consumer guarantees and limits
The site is provided as it is, without any promise that it will be free of error or always available. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law and that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the affected content. Complaints about consumer rights can be taken to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) at accc.gov.au.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
